    Default Need Info on 1973 Sea King 9.6

    I have a 1973 Sea King 9.6 Hp. Outboard. The motor is a new aquisition and I do not have a gas tank for it. What company made the 1973 - 9.6 and what type of gas tank (Chrysler, Johnson, Evinrude?)would it take? Also what is the fuel mix ratio on this motor? Any info you have will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Dave

    Welcome to iboats.

    I believe that your engine was built by Chrysler and uses a "50:1"
    mix.
