gale buccaner twin cylinder model 3B10 help.

im new to this forum i just got a gale buccaneer twin cylinder 3hp outboard (model nr 3B10)
my problem is that it gives no spark, i have taken the fly of.
and it look like the 2 coils are done..
Where can i buy spare parts for this outboard..
(im from denmark sorry about my english :-) )

I have the same outboard that I recently acquired. How are you making out with your engine? Have you gotten it running yet? (your English is much better than my Danish!) :>) What does your motor look like?

The twin cylinder 3hp Gale Buccaneer was sold in Europe. USA 3hp Buccaneer motors were single cylinder.

The European 3hp Gale was the same as the USA 3hp Johnson and Evinrude motors.

The coils are available all around the world. You just have to find who sells Evinrude parts in your area. I suppose you could have some shipped in from USA if you have to. They are extremely popular here. iboats sells them.

It's the standard universal ignition, on the singles and twins, up till 1974, so coils are available just about everywhere OMC parts are sold.

I'll bet not many people in U.S. have seen an European 3hp Buccaneer. I'd like to have an authentic one. Of course I could paint a Lightwin, but nobody would believe it.

Cool. That little bugger is just a JW in disguise. Buccaneers were closer in design to the name brand of OMC's, than the other Gale products were.
