Firestone outboard manual, Can I post?

Upon cleaning my garage I found a mid 50's firestone 5hp outboard manual. This should be pretty much as the Scotts of the same vintage other than the bail-o-matic. I'd rather post it though for everyone to benefit. It's 9 pages front and back.

Someone still owns the copyrights to that, LH. That would make it illegal to post it.

You are not allowed to offer it in the forum. That would be a public, private transaction.

If someone PMs you and asks for it, however, that would be private and unaffected by our rules.

I understand. I guess I was confused by the rules.

"13 - Soliciting - The soliciting of members to buy, sell, trade, donate or give away anything is not allowed in the forums. Private transactions arranged by Private Message (PM) or private Email are not affected by this rule."

I thought that this meant I couldn't ask for anybody to give me something but it was OK if I offered to give something away. Thank for the clarification.

Short answer: Lots of people using IE8 have temporarily lost some functions during our evolution upgrade.

Folks using Firefox and some other browsers are faring better.
