Default finding parts for Sea King

From the information I have found my boat motor is a gale product sea king year 1953. Model # 35GG9014A. I need to replace one of the spark plug wires. Dont know what brand or where to get it from. Any suggestions on to where to look or what to get? Would it be easier to pull the old one out and take it with me to a parts store?

    Thanks

Try your local small engine shop...probably cost about $25 for them to change it. Or you can do it yourself...solid core wire, plug terminal and boot...know-how to solder butt end to coil terminal...cost about $8.

Can anyone tell me what type of gas mix I can run? on the motor it says 1/2 pint 30 oil? Are they talking SAE 30? Would 2 stroke mix work the same?
Also what kind of gear oil and where would I be able to find it?

Thanks again for the help. I can not find any information for this motor

Your motor is a Gale model 5S10. Helps to know that.

They were talking about SAE-30, 1953 oil. Nothing like 2012 SAE-30 stuff, so don't use it or any other car oil. Do use TC-W3 outboard motor oil. 1/2 pint per gallon is best (16:1). No less than 1/3 pint per gallon (24:1). TC-W3 is the standard that most everybody goes by these days and is available everywhere boats might be used.

Lower unit took "Outboard Motor Gear Grease". That stuff hasn't been made in years. Most pople use "Lubriplate 105 Motor Assembly Grease". Get it at NAPA Auto Parts Stores. Comes in a big squeeze tube.

Can't find any information anywhere??? You just did here. You also might want to visit the Antique Outboard Club's website, www.aomci.org Thre are lots of those old Gale motors still around.
