How many cylinders (spark plugs), war?

Does it have cooling fins on the cylinder and head?

If it is a 1 cylinder with cooling fins it is an air-cooled chainsaw engine adapted to outboard use and should use chainsaw or weedwhacker oil.

I think the 24:1 mix you used would be okay, but use chainsaw oil.

If it is a 2 cylinder engine without fins it is water cooled. If that is the case use outboard oil (TC-W3) at 50:1, one pint per 6 gallons.
