    Default 1967 Ted Williams (McCullough) flywheel key needed

    Hey guys and gals. I just acquired a very sweet 9 hp 1967 Ted Williams motor... the guy said it kept shearing his "homemade" flywheel keys but otherwise runs great. Anyone happen to have the authentic, correct flywheel key for this motor? I sure need one and would appreciate any parts lists or info on where to get parts for it. Sears does not list parts for this one.

    I don't have a 65 parts manual but the 63 7.5 hp lists a 134-1887 flywheel key. you could go to web.a-znet.com/~scottguy/ "Ask the Scott Guy". If he doesn't have the key I'll bet he can tell you where to go,so to speak.You could also try the antique outboard motor club at www.aomci.org
