Default Use different plugs rather then RV15YC4 Champions

I am replacing my plugs on two motors.. 1987 OMC Chevy 5.0..

Manual calls for RV15YC4 Champion plugs... I have heard horror stories of Champion plugs. Anyone have recommendations of what I should use or if those are the only plugs I can use to get the best spark and fuel economy?

    Thanks!

Thanks Bond-o! I ordered them! The carbs have been loading up the engine so I figured since I ordered new carbs I better change the plugs... Anything else you think I should check or replace?

Replaced the 90 hours, very clean champions with ac delco, and noticed a much smoother idle. Haven't got to test mileage or anything. May have been inconsistent Gapping in the old plugs, or some other factor though
