About LinkBacksI have just shipped this outboard from Virginia to Calfornia based on what they call 85 freight. I put that the motor weighs 335 lbs... The trucker was upset with my friend that sold it to me and said it weighed much more. According to a couple of posts...a Johnson 115hp weighs 315lbs...
any thoughts???

The motor weighs less than 300#. Was cribbing included in the complaint. Can't vouch for packaging.

I am new to shipping such an item. What is cribbing...I googled it and found no information for packing. Thanks for the info...
What I hope to do is have a factory sheet showing the weight...so that when the trucker arrives I will have it in hand.
