Wanted:1957 35hp Evinrude (long shaft)

I restored a 1958 SeaMac(14 ft wooden runabout) and overhauled its 1957 18hp fastwin Evinrude. The motor runs great and the boat moves along but I am trying to find the 1957 35hp Evinrude Fastwin to go along with it and give it extra power for an additional passenger or two. I have been looking around quite a bit in the past 4 months and can only seem to locate those motors on recently restored boats. Can anyone point me in a direction to help me in my search, even if it is parting out numerous motors to get one running.

Get another 18 and run twins. That would be an eye-catcher! Nice having two if one dies, too. Kinda heavy, though.

Try contacting Tim Henning at Big Deep Lodge in Hackensack MN. He put together a 57 Johnson 35 for a 57 Crestliner runabout when I was restoring it.
