Has anyone had experience with Skeggard and/or Skeg Pro skeg protectors. Skeggard appears to afford a little more protection by covering the entire skeg. However Skeg Pro appears to provide a practical solution by covering the leading edge for 30 less sheckles. My second concern is if applying a skeg protector will in anyway compromise the performance of my boat?Helpful thoughts appreciated!Kevin
I bought a boat with a Skeggard and never noticed any ill effects from it. I'll have to say I never ran the boat without it so I really cannot compare performance. Looked good. They also offer a money back guarantee with a no questions asked policy for 1 year. Even after instalation. I think I would choose the Skeggard over the skegpro. From this design I feel there may be a chance of air turbulance as the water passes the following edge of the guard. Just MO with no evidence of proof.
Of those who receive good advice, only the wise will profit from it.
If you need it....Get it
If you want it....Wait
If you have it....Flaunt it
