no. ethanol will eat it.

but I have had one I got with a boat 10 yrs ago.
so, this means there must be something outhere
the fuel has changed since 2007. it's ethanol (corn alchol) based. it would have to be polyethylene lined to chemically deal with the caustic nature of the earth friendly gasoline.
my daughter's 4th grade science teacher said something like that...followed by how evil we are for owning boats...wrecking the earth

I've made gas tanks out of plywood coated in epoxy. Worked well for what we use them for in the race boats. Allows us to make a tank to fit the space of the hull... We epoxy in a fuel fitting and a threaded spout from a plastic tank to allow access...
