Shift and throttle linkage 1982 Mercury 50HP w/trim

I have a 1982 Mercury 50 HP (SN # 6098078) on my pontoon. I have a forward goes reverse and reverse goes forward issue. I want to verify the linkages in the throttle box at the steering collumn. I took the box off yesterday and looked in the back and it appears they are correct. From Neutral when I start to shift to forward, I think the first cable to move should be the shift to Forward gear, then as you move shifter full forward the second cable moves and should be the throttle correct? Just want to make sure cables are correct before I drop the LU to sync shifter to motor. A diagram of a correct throttle box would be great, as it looks like there are multiple options on where to hook each of the cables. Thanks.

The top link is close, but it looks like it has a separate throttle lever and mine doesn't. I'll look at the download and see if I can find it. Thanks again.
