    Default Salt water in lower unit gear case

    What should I do iiiiiiif I get salt water in my lower unit gear case ? How do I get the salt out?

    Flush out the best ya can with Mineral Spirits or Kerosene..repeat, oil in, run a short time, repeat..maybe more ..salt will eat metal short order..
