    Default powerhead removal- help

    Hey guys, can anyone tell me how far i need to go to remove my powerhead- 25HP merc built in 82. Everything works, i just need to get access to the adapter plate, so is there an easy way to remove the entire powerhead as a unit? Thanks

    There is, if anyone's wondering. I separated the throttle/shift linkage, fuel line and kill switch wires. Pretty sure that was it, then 6 bolts and powerhead came off and went back on as a unit.
