    Default NEED A TOOL? FOR MERC LOWER UNIT RETAINING RING?? 402MERC '73 2cyc

    Im taking apart the lower unit on my 73 402 merc 2cyc need to get the drive shaft out. Where can i get the tool that takes off that plastic ring inside the housing behind the prop. It round and has alot of notches on it. I saw a guy take it off on u-tube with one and a breaker bar. If i can get that off i know how to pull the carrier bering out then ill be good i hope.
