Mercury inline six wiring diagram?

I have a 1974 150 inline six mercury outboard and I need to "hot wire" it to get it started due to bad wiring in the boat. I need to know more about the wires coming out of the switchbox. From top to bottom, the first one goes to the coil, and the third one is positive, what are the other two? I think they run to the front of the boat where the key is, do they just need to be crossed for the motor to run?

If anybody knows where I could find a complete wiring diagram I would love it, my shop manual got destroyed.

I forgot where on this site, I found the link, but it was posted here in iboat.com, and led to a free download of the manual... if I find it agan, I will give it to you.
I downloaded it on Adobe PDF file.

Also SELOC manuals has a Mercury Outboards Manual #1408, that covers 1965-1989, 90-300HP, Inline 6 and V-6, 2-Stroke Models. I got mine through Amazon.com for about 23.00 dollars. It has all of the wiring diagrams in the appendix.

Without a s/n of your engine it is hard to guarantee the year but here are two diagrams you can check:
