Hello, im in desperate need of some help. I just bought an old army motor (1980 merc) with 45 hp that have been longtime-conserved, so it only have about 10 hours runtime totally so far. The problem is when it reaches high rpm:s it cuts the ignition (i think so, but it could also be a petrol problem) It sounds like the motor has been fitted with some type of rpm-regulator?? It runs smoothly on all 4 cyl when the rpm is low or medium. I have checked the fuel pump. I was ok. The motor was running perfectly until some days ago. What to do?![]()
