    Default Mercury 9.8 wiring diagram

    Anyone out there have a wiring diagam for a 1979 9.8 Mercury?I had posted earlier regarding stator and trigger bench testing.Thanks

    Howdy, SOS.You need a manual if you plan to work on your engine.It will save you it's price every time you use it.Good luck.

    Thanks JB, The motor belongs to a friend of mine. I said I would take a look at it for him. I did suggest to him that he purchase a manual, as I have manuals for all of my motors. Just none that have references to this motor.
