Mercury 85HP Gas/Oil mixture

Hi all, Have been a member for awhile, any questions I've had, i've been able to find a solution for in someone elses posts. Yesterday I bought a Mercury 85hp outboard. Wouldn't turn over, or even click, narrowed it down to the plug from control box to motor. rewired everything, and motor turns over. Just wanting to verify the mixture I should be using, my old evinrude ran 50:1. Is this mixture ok to run in the Merc, or is it another ratio? also, I'm having trouble determining the year. From what i've found, it's a 1973, using this chart http://www.maxrules.com/Merc_model_files/60-100.html if anyone is able to confirm this, or correct me, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Btw, serial # on motor is 7017085

It is a 1973 and the mixture is 50:1
