this engine is driving me nuts.....

i have had a problem with the carb flooding......

The engine fires brilliantly from cold, one pull and away. After running for a while 1/2 hour or so, (sometimes more and sometimes less), the engine is easily stalled and is almost impossible to restart. When do get it restarted, usually with throttle full open, it will stall again if im not very careful with revs. When this problem occours fuel leaks from small brass overflows at top of carb. Hence my assumption that it is flooding.

I have had the carb off and cleaned, jets are clear, float seems to move ok all looks ok.....

The engine will run in a barrel for a long time without any problems.

What can cause this flooding???????

Thanks in advance for any help.
