Hi guys,
My son has a 1983 40hp Mercury 2 cylinder outboard and I'm having a hard time getting the air/fuel mixture adjusted correctly. I'm pretty sure it is running way too heavy on the fuel side as it is hard to start after running and it burns A LOT of fuel (like 2.5 gallons in 30 to 45 minutes of running). Which way do I turn the screw to give the carb more air and less fuel? thanks so much!
