Mercury 200 1968 (20hp)

Hi everyone, I'm Phill.
I'm new to this site and to outboard engines.
I have bought a 1968 mercury 200 and need an exploded view parts diagram as I aint got a clue where to start on reconditioning it.
Can anyone tell me where to get a diagram from???

Hi Phil, and welcome to iBoats,

The best advice we can give you is to invest in a service manual... And not just any service manual, get a genuine OEM manual. For your engine you'll find plenty on eBay. Lots of good advice and exploded diagrams. Difficult to post up here as there are quite a few of them.
