    Default Mercruiser 120 runs bad after warming

    I have a 1985 Galaxy fish/ski with a 120 Mercruiser i/o. She starts rightup and runs beautifully for about 10 to 15 min. After that she starts backfiring, hesitating. She will only go around 8 m/hr. which slows until she dies. She'll start right back up again and running bad againetc. etc. etc. Thanks

    Check that the choke isn't stuck closed or come of its linkage and flopping around.
