    Default How to adjust new Shift and Throttle Cables

    Can anyone please tell me how to adjust new Shift and Throttle Cables on a 2003 Mercury Outboard. 2003 60hp 2 stroke

    I have 1 Throttle cable and 1 Shift cable

    Put the motor in neutral, put the shifter in neutral. Adjust the shift cable so it drops on freely.

    Adjust the throttle cable so the throttle stop (maybe idle adjustment) will hold a piece of paper, but allow it to be withdrawn easily.
