Best Service Manual for Mercruiser Sterndrive?

I've got a Mercruiser 5.0L V-8 Alpha One I/O Sterndrive and I'm looking for a good service manual. The owner's manual is pretty limited on maintenance. Is the Mercruiser Shop Manual the best to go with or is there a line of Aftermarket books(like Chilton's for Automotive) that are easier to follow for a boat newbie. I'm needing a guide for winterizing as well as future maintenance needs. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the help Spinner. I picked up the Clymer manual last night and it's really easy to follow.
