I have a 1979 90hp inline six Mercury outboard. It has WMK-27 carburetors. It started running very rich and dieing at idle this weekend and I believe the floats need replacing. I gently tapped on each bowl cover in an attempt to free a stuck float valve. That didn't work. I plan on tearing down all three carbs and replacing all three floats along with valves but was wondering if anyone has a weight spec for them. My Clymer manual does not seem to have this spec. Thanks in advance.

There is no specific weight spec for the floats. Just buy new ones and follow the manual set up for float drop etc. If it is important to you I can weigh a float for you, however, I cannot give you a range that is In spec or out of spec.
Mercury inlines....nothing else stacks up
