Default 77 Merc 850 no fire on 1 and 4

Hello, looking for a little help, I have a 77 850 that I have installed a new trigger and stator on, trying to start I have no fire on 1 and 4 cylinder, any ideas? Reason I replaced trigger and stator was because the wiring was weathered and falling apart.

    Thanks

Yes 1 and 4, I tested coil number 1 and 4 this evening and they passed, swaped spark plug wires, same thing. I am going back tomorrow to check my wiring on the switch.

Compression check was great 125 128 125 125. I has to be something I am missing.

prob switch box, and if it is try to get a cdi unit from a reputable place they seem to put out a little more rpm's?, they will warranty for 2 years but not from anywhere on ebay, mine went out after 25 months, luckily had a new oem type with some parts i got. Talked to a cdi rep, he was very helpful but his hands where tied on warranty. probably a burnt out capacitor/diode or cracked solder on the 3 dollar circuit board easily fixed if it weren't encased in rock solid epoxy.

I agree , I swaped the wires on the switch box 2 to 1 and 3 to four, tested 1,2,4, worked, 3 is dead. I am gonna look at the wiring a little closer one more time then order a new switch. Thank you for your input!!
