25 hp mercury starter?

i have a 25m id like to convert to eelectric start can anyone tell me what to do? what to buy etc.thanks for your reply.

Hi,

I would call or stop by a Merc dealer and see what a electric start kit would cost. You will need to give them your serial number for the correct kit .
Or I guess you could contact an online dealer with the same information for a price on a kit.

The kits would have a starter, solenoid, wire harness, micro switch, a ring gear if needed for your engine. Some kind of start button mounted on the handle or you could get a key switch set up. These are a separate kit.

I have a 20 hp 1999 Mercury and the electric start has quit. The solenoid clicks when pushing the button but that's it, have a new battery with a good charge what should I be looking for?
