    Default 2010 optimax 115 high rpm readings, correct setting on tach?

    I have a 2010 optimax currently it is reading rpms higher than they are. I know this is correct as I have proped the boat to mercury test straight off there website with a 13.75 X 15p 3blade black max....... the optimax has a revlimiter that will literally shut the engine down if it goes over 5800 RPMS right now at max my tach is reading 63-6400 RPMs. I looked on the back of the tachometer and it is set to 12p or position b. Is this correct?
