2004 mercury 175hp lack of throttle reponse
Hello everyone , my grandfather has this motor and it has developed a intermitent problem. Sometimes when he goes to throttle up the motor won't rev above 2000 rpms, until he quickly lets off and nails it again. Also only does this when the motor is warmed up completly never cold. Any ideas?

Compression is good, I am thinking tps or something electrical. Any thoughts?
