Default 1989 Mercury 100hp water pump replacement

I want to replace the water pump but I am unsure of how to properly remove the lower unit to get to the pump. There are 4 nuts ( 2 on each side) and one in front of the zinc anode. Is all I have to do is remove the nuts and the lower unit will drop down to get to the pump? Is there anything I have to beware of so I dont damage anything?

Any help of proper technique would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks and God bless,
    Terry

Did you get any help? I am about to attempt the same procedure on my 1989 Mercury 100 HP outboard.
