ok after talking with the guy i got the boat from, he told me he fooled around with the carbs and i have a feeling that when i put the boat in the lake and it is under load it keeps stalling.
now i am not a marine mechanic but i have a feeling this is why it runs good with muffs, on but not under load.
my question is do you turn the idle screws to the leftto gain more fuel ar to the right and by how much????.
Or would i have a different problem.
Ok just to recap i put the boat in the water ,start it up it idles fine with out stalling around 900 rpm,700-750, in gear i pour the coal to it and it just dies or i feed the throtle slowly and it starts to die after 10 to 15 seconds.
any help or suggestions would be great.

13. Please do not post multiple threads in multiple forums about a single problem. This is confusing to those trying to help you. Multiple threads in the same forum about the same issue is also confusing. If you want help fast, one thread in one forum is the best way to get it.
It would be good to familiarize yourself with our rules.
