    Default 1969 Mercruiser 120 won't shift

    I replaced the water pump and shift bushing on the lower unit of my mercruiser 120 #2650386 and now the shift arm doesn't engage the intermediate shift shaft. What did I do wrong or leave out to cause this problem?
