Where can I locate a Owners Manual. Gas ratio ect.... Good clean motor but before I try and get in running I need to make sure its ready to run. Anyone with a little advice and knowledge. Any help greatly appreciated.
Quart of Mercury oil of that era to 6 gal. of gas, same as all Mercurys of that era. The driveshaft is unusual, the powerhead is not. I have a Mercury service
manual from that era but it's in Houston and I won't be back there until Aug.

I also have a 1959 Mercury 15a and I am trying to replace the impeller. How do you remove the water pump after the roll pin is drilled out? Is it held in another way with something else I haven't found yet? Can the lower unit be replaced with another model to avoid using the same transmission that there are no parts available for? Thanks for any help, I'll bang on it until I get a reply.
