Short of a total teardown on the trans, I've got two thoughts before ya put fire to it..If you don't have a manual for the trans, although not specific for the TRS trans, this link might be of some help.. http://mysite.verizon.net/vze6mxo8/d...erv_Manual.pdf If the fluid's not milky... #1, sticking pressure relief spring, or something else screwy going on with the control valve assembly allowing it to go over regulated pressure... Straight forward to dis-assemble an inspect..#2, there's a screen inside the bottom hose fitting on the trans.. It could be plugged with debris...If the fluid's still milky, I'm at a loss..
I don't give interviews, and I'm no longer a public figure..

http://www.marinegears.com/techboard/index.html#Readit Take a look at this forum, the subject has come up before, you have water in the gear, you have to get all the moisture out, means a strip down with a minumum of a new gasket/seal kit.
