Short of a total teardown on the trans, I've got two thoughts before ya put fire to it..If you don't have a manual for the trans, although not specific for the TRS trans, this link might be of some help..

If the fluid's not milky...
#1, sticking pressure relief spring, or something else screwy going on with the control valve assembly allowing it to go over regulated pressure... Straight forward to dis-assemble an inspect..
#2, there's a screen inside the bottom hose fitting on the trans.. It could be plugged with debris...
If the fluid's still milky, I'm at a loss..
