Ok, so i ve got most of my issues resolved on my new to me boat. new shift cable, new gimbal bearing, new yoke seal, new yoke, new trim senders and limit switches, bellows are 1 yr old and looked great, now im moving up to the engine compartment.
I figured out the wiring that was hacked for the limit switches and trim sender, also found the disconnected wire for the shift interrupt switch, now i see the reverse lock valve wires are un-hooked. The wires are both blue and have ring terminals. I have looked at service manual number 2 multiple times and cannot seem to find the wiring diagram for the valve. Ive looked at the engine and the trim diagrams.. Maybe i overlooked them. Tried searching and came up with nothing. Please help. Josh
Reverse lockout valve is not electrical. It should have two trim lines going to it. On my boat there is a ground point right next to it. What year and model?

Actually, it is... look at the wiring diagram. You'll see that when you're in reverse the switch stops the pump running UP...
