    Default Mercury 3.0 185 2006 with quick start idling at 1000 rpm

    Hello guys! I need some help. How to lower the idle speed on my 2006 stingray 185 with a mercury 3.0. The boat runs fine but it's idling at 1000 rpm out of the water and in the water. Thanks

    Does the engine slow down after the engine warms up? (6 to 10 minutes). If so, that is normal. If not, then disconnect the throttle cable at the carb and start the engine and see if it slows down after warm up.
