ok well we have a 1967 mfg bowrider with a mercruiser 120 i/o.. the problem we are having is that the choke on the rochester 2jet carb is not working and we need to replace it.. the worst part about this is that we can not find anyone that still carries that carb or the choke assembly.. the engine runs great as long as i sit and manually choke the carb.. only i cant do that and keep the correct choke placement when we try to throttle up..
is there anywhere that we can go to get a replacement carb/choke assembly? or is there a newer assembly that will work as a direct replacement? i have called mercury marine and they have not dealed with this model engine in years and are of no help to me at all.
