Default Looking for certified marine mechanic in S.E. Michigan.

I'm coming up on the 100 hour mark, so I want to get my engine to drive alignment checked by a professional. The only catch is, I would like to sit there and watch the whole process because I would like to do it myself in the future. Heck, I'll even get dirty too if you need a helping hand. I'm no dummy when it comes to mechanical work, but I've never owned a boat before this one, so this is all new to me. I'll pay what ever the going rate is. I just don't want to drop it off at a dealer, then go pick it up because the only thing I'll learn by doing that is how to sign a check. I can bring the boat to your house or shop, or you can some to me. I have a lot of tools and air, just not the alignment tool, which I'll buy when I go to do it on my own next time.

    P.S. It's a MerCruiser 3.0L and an Alpha 1 Gen II Drive.
