Lock-n-Stitch repair on a 3.0

Has anyone done or had done the lock-n-stitch repair done on a 3.0 bock that had a external crack?

I had an engine with an external crack and looked into the lock n stitch technique. It seems sound. there are some complications with where the crack is etc.

the real issue is this: i found out my block was cracked internally as well as a small crack in one of the heads..... glad I found out before I spent the money..
