    Default how to line up shaft in lower unit

    i have a baylinder with a 470/170 mercruiseri but a pumb in the drive. have a hard time line the shaft back in. had it in twice.but it was in the wrong gear.i do what the books say. and it just want go back in. work on it two days need some one that might no how to do it a better waythanks.

    PUT SHIFT LEVER Into forward make certain lower unit is in forward should slide together . make sure you dont pop out of frward while installing doesnt take much just turn prop wrong way and its out of gear
