    Default fuel injection conversion?

72 Merc 302 with a carb. I figure about 3000.00 to change to a fuel injection set-up. My question is, is it worth it and about how much would I save on gas?

Just so you know, there is no way I could do the conversion myself so I would have to pay. If my estimate is off please advise.
Boats are like women, pay attention to them and they are fine. Ignore them, even for a little while, and they will make you regret it.

    .

    1. No
    2. Not enough to ever make it close to being worth it.

Ditto - you will never recoup the cost, not even close.

I did, I'm preparing to move in the next month(budget cuts have forced the Coast Guard to shut-down the housing where we live). So now I have to focus most of my energy on organizing our stuff. Hopefully soon though.
