Default Confirming Part # for coupler

Alrighty, after a few members here directed me to my engine coupler problem, I've decided to try to fix this now. My sterndrive is a '73, would that most likely be a Model 1? The engine is a 140hp 3.0 Merc out of a '75 hull that my brother in law repowered this boat with. I'm trying to confirm the part number I need. What I've found so far is this... 76850A2, replaced by part # 18-2171. Is this correct? Reason being I am going to rent an engine hoist and I want my parts on hand before I get into this so I can avoid excessive rental fees.If anyone has any good tips on this, I'd also appreciate your thoughts. I plan on just following my Clymer manual and taking pics of anything I remove/disassemble.

See if you can find your engine here and then you can find the P/N in the drawings https://www.dougrussell.com/partscat...tails&colid=04
