On the parts schematic it shows 2 fittings for the power steering hoses and it looks to me like they are quick disconnects. The boat I am working on doesn't have quick disconnect fittings. The part number I am finding for the steering actuator is 806034A1. Is that the correct part number?? Or am I looking at the fittings incorrectly? The drive serial number is an OM700.
The newest model Mercruiser power steering systems have quick disconnect fittings. Older ones do not.

Ok thank you that is what i figured. But but with that part number 806034A1 the threads are the same for the quick disconnect fittings? And are the O- Rings the same on the schematic?
I can't say for sure. I suspect you could simply remove the fittings on the actuator and do it the the "old way" To be sure, you might give a call to a mercury dealer and ask them.
If your hoses are the least bit questionable, you could also replace the hoses and get them with the quick disconnects on them.
