    Default Bad Tach ?

    Changed all my gauges on my seapro which has a 4.3l V6 Mercruiser.Went to start my boat and it would not start. I had weak spark out of the coil. After a few hours of checking, I unhooked the gray wire from the tach. The boat fired right up. I would assume that the tach is bad and it is not the settings on the back. Any Thoughts?

    I would assume that the tach is bad and it is not the settings on the back.
    Ayuh,... It sounds like the Gauge,... or it's wiring....

    But I wouldn't Assume anything...

    Throw the old 1 back in, 'n see what happens,...
    Try spinnin' the switch around, 'n retry it...
    Any Grease is Better,..... Than No Grease at All.......
