antifreeze???

my boat is still in the water til next weekend so last week i pulled the water feed hose from the transom, (bravo drive) and put a funnel in it and poured 5 gals of 50/50 antifreeze in while the motor ran. will this ensure that antifreeze is in all areas of the block and manifolds....i warmed up the engine to operating temp before i started this, if that matters

It won't insure anything but the manifolds and risers. Rather using muffs or pouring it in as you did it all does the same thing.

If you want to INSURE nothing freezes while it's still in the water, drain it.
