    Default adjuster screw

    could someone tell me what the adjuster screw item number 39 actually adjusts as i have just cleaned all my carbs out thinking it was a drain screw(lol) engine runs fine at idle and wot so just curious what it is for and where its meant to be set

    i cant get the pic any bigger so its the brass screw thats on the underside of the carbs(stromberg)

    It's been a long time, and I might be wrong, but I seem to remember that is your hi speed jet adjustment.

    thanks for that where should i set it as my manual dont cover stromberg carbs?????

    It's been so long, I can't remember; I haven't dealt with one since the late 60's.
    Try google, a lot of old 40's and 50's cars used them.

    right i found out they are actually the mixture screws,,,, has anyone got a success story using gunsons colortuner or bad stories let me know
