The boat is a 1997 just purchased and unknown history. The wheel steers the same with motor on or off not real hard but I,m positive the power steering isn't working.The steering cables seem fine. Checked belt and fluid all good, no leaks.Is there a way to check the steering pump and is there a automotive pump that will work? The least expensive that I found is around $400.00
