1997 mercruiser alpha 1 steering cable removal
Ok I've got a boat that sank last year and now the power steering does not work. i have removed the pin that i think should be removed to check if its the steering cable and it is still very diffacult to turn. Now i want to remove the cable from the boat and try to lube it. How do i get it apart from the accuator? Any help would be appreciated.

The Mercruiser manual is available in the "Adults Only" section.
See if this helps
