Default 1989 Mercruiser 190. Water pump seal.

A couple drops of coolant drips out the weephole on the water pump on start up. No leakage at all once warm. Oil is clean. No coolant in oil. Is this something that needs to be addressed with speedi sleeves right away or can it watched over a season? Is it normal for 2 or 3 drops on start up?

Just keep an eye on your crankcase oil and your coolant and you should be fine.. Its been sitting???? If any shows up in either its time for the new seals and a speedi sleeve.

It had sat 2 years before I started it up a little more than a month ago.
